Site-Built Home

A site-built home is, as the name implies, one that is constructed on-site at the final intended location of the building.

Site-built homes, also occasionally referred to as “stick-built” homes, are the most common type of home in the US today, and most homes are usually assumed to be site-built unless they are explicitly described as being factory-built. Unlike many factory-built homes, site-built structures must conform to local, regional, and/or state building codes at the site of construction.
