New website

As you have probably noticed, the EH website looks very different now.

We’re in the process of migrating the Ethical Homes website from its old setup to a new, database-driven system that will allow us a lot more flexibility to do cool things in the future. Initially, things will probably look a lot messier; one of the advantages of the new system, though, is that all of the layout for the website is handled in one central place, so once everything is up and running, the appearance of the site can be changed very easily in one place in the database, rather than having to update every single page every time we wanted to change the layout (as we had to do for the old website), which will make it a lot easier to pretty up the site down the line. The new system also makes it easier for multiple people to update the site, which means that the Ethical News updates will start occuring on a more reasonable schedule again.

Thanks for your patience during the transition to the new setup. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to let us know about them.
