Get notified about new content on the website

One of the many advantages that the new EH website has over the old one is that all of the new content on the site is automatically made available via RSS, an internet standard for publishing regular updates about web-based content.
If you’re not familiar with RSS, you can learn more about it here. Some of the best modern web browsers (such as Firefox and Safari) come with built-in support for RSS, and most of the other browsers (including Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Netscape) have plugins available to add RSS support; you can also download stand-alone RSS readers, or (as I do) use an online news aggregator such as Bloglines.
For most of these RSS-enabled tools, if you just point the RSS component at the URL for this website (http://ethicalhomes.com/), they should see the RSS feed just fine, and you can start receiving automatic updates as new content is posted.
(Note: there are actually multiple syndication standards that are referred to as RSS, including a few that aren’t really RSS at all. The EH website supports all of the common standards, but some RSS tools don’t ask the EH website to use the standard that the tool expects. If for some reason your RSS tool doesn’t find the RSS feed when pointed at the main website URL, try pointing it at some of the following URLs instead, each of which explicitly asks for a different standard to be used; at least one of them should work with your tool:
Also, if visitors to the site are interested, I can enable a feature that would allow you to filter your RSS feeds according to category; that way, for example, a visitor could set up their RSS tool to only alert them to new posts in, say, the Buyers, Market Update, and Testimonials & Critiques categories. If you’d be interested in that feature being enabled, please let me know.)
