Alexandria updates limits for MIHP
Posted on June 13th, 2005 at 9:05 pm by SwethThe Alexandria City Council recently approved a number of changes to their Moderate Income Homeownership Assistance Program (which for some reason they abbreviate MIHP rather than MIHAP).
Specifically:
- The maximum loan available through MIHP has been raised from $20,000 to $30,000; for residents of apartment buildings undergoing conversion to condos, the maximum amount is now $40,000.
- The income limit for the program has also been raised, to $71,440 for single-resident households, $80,370 for two-person households, and $89,300 for households of 3 or more residents.
Contact me if you have questions about the changes in this program, or about homeownership assistance programs in any of the local DC jurisdictions.
