The Kingdom of Sweden, and its House of Sweden, cordially invites SBNOW and Friends (including Ethical Homes and our guests) to its free Sustainability Georgetown Waterfront Open House Reception on Thursday 6/25/09.
The House of Sweden is an event center that the Swedish Embassy maintains in Georgetown; on Thursday night, they are opening the facility to the public to help raise awareness about the many green features of the facility. Guests will learn about and see the operational sustainable elements used in the building and conference center. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while you meet with a leading sustainable caterer and many other local vendors offering sustainable products and services to the House of Sweden. Here are the details:
- When: Thursday, June 25th 4:00pm – 8:00pm
- Where: House of Sweden, 2900 K Street NW, Washington, DC 20007 (On the Georgetown Waterfront next to Washington Harbour)
- Getting There: Complimentary Valet parking at the House of Sweden and a complimentary shuttle service from the Foggy Bottom Metro (Blue/Orange lines). Just look for the House of Sweden staff.
Ethical Homes is going to try to attend, but we have a few client settlements during that time that we might need to attend; feel free to drop by at any time without us, though, as no RSVP is needed.
