On October 1-2, the 2005 Solar Tour, organized by The American Solar Energy Society, makes its 15th appearance in the Washington DC Metro area.
The tour is about more than photovoltaic solar cells; it also highlights the benefits of low-e windows, recycled products, efficient appliances, geothermal heating and cooling, net metering, even heat and water recovery. If your first instinct is that these products are too expensive, go on the tour and discover the payback of these and other products.
